Isabel by Casa Cruz
A sister outpost of Notting Hill's Caza Cruz restaurant...

Recently, several notable Mayfair restaurants have headed West and opened up interesting sibling outposts in Notting Hill including Chucs Restaurant & Café (replacing Tom's Deli) and Peyotito - an off-shoot of Cork Street's Mexican eaterie Peyote. In return, Mayfair is now home to a glamorous slice of Buenos Aires with the opening of a new sister restaurant to Notting Hill's Casa Cruz - taking over the Sumosan site on Albemarle Street (which has moved to Knightsbridge).

The restaurant is the fourth in the portfolio for Juan Santa Cruz, the Chilean entrepreneur and acclaimed designer responsible for Buenos Aires’ most successful and sought after venues (Casa Cruz and Aldo's), with the popular Notting Hill restaurant becoming his first overseas opening and a replication of his BA restaurant, Isabel, a lively bar with seventies-inspired interior.

Expect stunning and glamourous interior design, as equally chic and elegant as his BA and West London counterparts and an upscale small plates menu that is predominantly Mediterranean, with contemporary Argentine influences and a suitably 'clubby' atmosphere with downstairs a more 'after-hours" spot with DJs and a full bar.
