Serge et le Phoque
The team from the critically acclaimed, Michelin-starred restaurant Serge et le Phoque in Hong Kong to open their first London venture at The Mandrake hotel.

The team behind the concept of Serge et le Phoque (awarded a Michelin star in 2015) consists of Frédéric Peneau, the former business partner of Iñaki Aizpitarte at the award-winning, Le Chateaubriand, chef Christophe Pelé (formerly of two-Michelin-starred Bigarrade) and interior designer turned restauranteur Charles Pelletier.

The contemporary (stripped-back) French restaurant is located in the heart of the Wan Chai district of Hong Kong and serves progressive French food showcasing local and international ingredients and named after Peneau's young son Serge and his imaginary pet seal ('phoque' being French for seal).

Expect the London outpost to have a similar vibe with brick walls, banquette seating and hip-styled staff. The 80-cover restaurant will also feature a 16-person private dining room and located beside the striking central courtyard surrounded by hanging gardens of jasmine and passion flower. There will also be three bars and a pizza shack as an alternative.
